A great deal of what adversely affects mental health is a self-critical mind-set we often learn in childhood. Therapy can create a safe and confidential space for you to explore the origins of the inner-critic, make friends with that part of you, and develop a more compassionate way of thinking, which will ultimately have a positive influence on your feelings and behaviour.
