About Neil
Neil is a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who offers a warm and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. He will help you to understand the issues that may be holding you back in life or preventing you from feeling contentment. Cognitive behavioural therapy will help you develop a range of insights and skills you can use throughout your life to achieve better peace of mind.
Neil provides a caring, confidential and safe environment for you to work on the changes you would like to make. Sessions can be arranged in the daytime or evening to allow you to fit them around your schedule. Cognitive behavioural therapy helps you to develop new ways of thinking and behaving, so early morning sessions are ideal to set you up for a successful day at work, school, university, child-care, etc.
Neil works with a range of issues including:
- Addictions (drugs, alcohol, gambling, food, sex, etc.)
- Low mood and depression
- Anxiety

- Relationships
- Low self-esteem
- Stress (workplace, education, etc.)
- Problems with sleep
Training and Experience
Neil is a qualified cognitive behavioural therapist who has worked in various settings, including private practice, schools, prisons and addiction services. He was a secondary school English and Pastoral Care teacher for 18 years.

Neil is a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP) and abides by their code of ethics.
