About Fazila
Fazila is an Integrative Relationship Counsellor who works with couples, family dyads (parent-child units/sibling units who are over the age of 18), individuals and children (aged 5 to 18 years). She offers a free telephone consultation prior to any appointment and would be happy to find out more about you and discuss any concerns you may have.
Fazila’s work is underpinned by psychodynamic, systemic and attachment-based principles. She therefore considers a client’s personal, relationship and family history, cultural background as well as their current context within the therapeutic process. Working in a warm, gentle, and balanced way and with the client’s objectives in mind is key in Fazila’s approach. She utilises varied theoretical lenses, psychoeducational material, reflection, and sometimes creative approaches to help clients find greater clarity on their concerns, build self-awareness, and strengthen or develop new coping mechanisms.
Fazila has a strong awareness and knowledge of attachment trauma and complex trauma which guides her work. She also has interest in the lived experience of families living with children with additional support needs as well as relationships affected by additional support needs and this is also something that informs her work.
Fazila works with a range of issues including:
- Communication Issues
- Interpersonal and relationship difficulties
