Training and experience

Shuna originally trained and worked in film and theatre before studying to become a Play Therapist at Notre Dame clinic in Glasgow. Her training extensively covered topics such as play development, play theories, child development and attachment theory and took a psychodynamic, person centred, non directive approach. After taking her practice into nature over 15 years ago Shuna trained as a forest school leader to complement her work and as well as offering nature-based play therapy she now delivers to other practitioners to take their practice into nature.
